Some time ago, we launched the Cafe Solutions division of Caffe Cocina with the goal of helping independent café owners bring their vision to life. Since then, we’ve had the opportunity to be part of some incredible projects, but this one stands out as especially meaningful to our team.
Working alongside Bihn, Asha, and Andrew to develop their new Vietnamese-style café has been an honor from start to finish. Together, we designed and built a high-capacity coffee program capable of supporting the excitement, popularity, and demand their concept is certain to bring to Poulsbo.
One of the most rewarding aspects of this project was sourcing coffees from origins that were entirely new to us—Vietnam and Laos. Exploring these coffee-growing regions opened new doors for our team and challenged us to expand our knowledge, relationships, and sourcing capabilities.
From the very beginning, the Tran family’s vision centered on honoring their heritage and the journey that brought their family together. They introduced us to the concept of Four Corners: Vietnam, Laos, Nicaragua, and Kenya—four origins that represent the foundation of their family’s story.
While our team has spent years working with coffees from Nicaragua and Kenya, sourcing and blending coffees that reflected all four origins was a unique opportunity and a responsibility we didn’t take lightly. Being entrusted with such an important and personal element of their vision was both challenging and inspiring. Our goal was to create a coffee program that not only delivers an exceptional experience but also tells a meaningful story in every cup.
We would like to congratulate the Tran family on the opening of their new café and thank them for allowing us to be part of such a special project. We look forward to watching their business thrive and seeing the community that will undoubtedly grow around this remarkable space.
If you’re in Poulsbo, be sure to stop by, experience their hospitality, and enjoy a coffee inspired by four corners of the world. Join us in supporting a wonderful local family business and celebrating the passion, culture, and craftsmanship that make this café truly unique.
