Big things are happening behind the scenes at Caffe Cocina Coffee Roasting Company.
After years of roasting coffee for our two cafes in Poulsbo , our wholesale partners, and the growing community of people who have made Caffe Cocina part of their daily ritual, we’ve officially taken a pretty exciting next step: our new, larger-capacity roaster is up and running.
The first roast on the new roaster was more than just a batch of coffee. It was a milestone. A tangible moment that marks just how much Caffe Cocina has grown since those early days of roasting coffee for our own cafes.
This new roaster gives us the capacity to do more of what we love: roast great coffee, support our cafes, serve our wholesale partners, and make room for the new partnerships and opportunities still ahead.
Growth is exciting, but it doesn’t happen in a vacuum.
It takes a whole lot of people willing to show up, lend a hand, solve a problem, move some equipment, offer some expertise, and believe in what we’re building.
We’re incredibly grateful to the partners, friends, family, coffee folks, and everyone else who helped get this new chapter off the ground. Caffe Cocina has always been a team effort, and this milestone is no different.
The first roast deserves something special…
There was no way we were going to let the first coffee off this new roaster disappear into the regular rotation without making a little noise about it.
That first blend is going to get its own moment.

The first roast is out of the new roaster. The coffee is moving. The wheels are turning. And Caffe Cocina is continuing to grow.
